We welcome visitors to experience Bucknell's beautiful campus and exceptional facilities up-close. Lewisburg, Pa. is a lovely college town nestled on the banks of the Susquehanna River and just steps from campus. There you'll find Barnes & Noble at Bucknell Bookstore, the historic art deco Campus Theatre, and many other shops and restaurants.

The Susquehanna River, the eastern border of campus, is ideal for research in the natural sciences, humanities and sustainability. It's also a terrific place to spend a day kayaking and exploring the river's banks and islands — or just reading under a tree along the shore.
