Set up your Bucknell password and enroll in DUO
On May 8, you'll receive instructions on how to set up your Bucknell account. See the email you received in your personal email account from techdesk@bucknell.edu for the steps to follow to claim your account. More information

DUO, Bucknell's multi-factor authentication service secures your account. Follow these instructions to self enroll in DUO. You MUST complete this step to be able to login to your account.

Begin preparing to select your courses

• For College of Arts & Sciences, this means watching the instructional videos and scheduling an appointment with your Summer Academic Counselor (SAC). Appointments will be available May 14 - June 14.

For Freeman College of Management students, this means watching the instructional videos and participating in a Zoom webinar . See details in your "Freeman First Steps" gadget in myBucknell.

Submit your Medical Record Form
Important: You must download the medical form, complete it and mail it back to Student Health. The form must be completed in its entirety and signed by a medical provider before sending it in. We recommend scheduling a physical as soon as possible. Without a complete medical record on file, students arriving to campus will be unable to receive their room key until all medical requirements are satisfied.

Set up your Authorized Users in B-bill
You can grant access to multiple authorized users to view/print/pay your B-bill. Federal privacy regulations prohibit Bucknell from releasing financial information without student consent.

Complete the Bucknell University Success Survey
To ensure your successful start, please take the Bucknell University Success Survey. It is required that you answer these questions honestly so that we can prepare the resources that would be most effective in helping you. You must complete the Success Survey by July 16.

Complete the Sexual & Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Response Course (SPARC)
At Bucknell, we are committed to providing an environment free of gender-based discrimination. Gender-based discrimination, including sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking, is prohibited at Bucknell. This online Sexual & Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Response Course will include information about Bucknell's Sex Discrimination, Sexual Misconduct, Relationship Violence and Stalking Policy and Procedures and will provide you with a better understanding of what constitutes sexual misconduct, relationship violence and stalking at Bucknell. You must complete SPARC by Aug. 10.

Remember to enroll in or waive the health insurance coverage. Failure to complete this requirement by August 9 may result in a Hold being placed on your student account and may delay your fall semester enrollment. .

Sign the Statement of Community Responsibility
Bucknell is committed to fostering social responsibility and nurturing an atmosphere of civility and integrity in all areas. Upon voluntary entry to Bucknell, students promise to observe the ideals important to our University contained in the Statement of Community Responsibility. All students must read, retype and electronically sign this statement by Aug. 15.

Complete Alcohol Education course and exam
Bucknell University is committed to educating students on how to make healthy and safe choices regarding their use of alcohol. As part of this commitment, you are asked to participate in an online educational program called 3rd Millennium. This program will provide you with valuable information and resources regarding responsible alcohol consumption. Following the course you will need to complete an exam about the information you learned. You must complete Part I of the course with a passing score of 75 percent. Due by Aug. 15.

Academic Advising
Be sure to check Banner Web for important advising information including dates, times and locations of Foundation Seminar and major meetings. Advising sessions are mandatory. First-year schedule changes can take place between 3:00 p.m - 4: 30 p.m. on Thursday, August 22 and 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23 at the Registrar's Office. The regular drop/add process will begin on Monday, Aug. 26, first-year students may add open courses at the Registrar's Office 102 Marts Hall.

Move-in day for first-year students
You should arrive on Wednesday, Aug. 21 between 8 a.m.-noon. Go directly to your building for move-in. If you are traveling to Bucknell from a great distance, early move-in is available on Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 1-4 p.m. Go to 126 Vedder Hall. If you arrive early for an athletic pre-season, international orientation, or a pre-orientation program, you'll receive information from your individual program regarding move-in.

New Student Orientation begins
After a series of afternoon programs, family and friends are asked to depart between 5-6 p.m. Orientation ends Sunday night; classes begin on Monday, Aug. 26.
