Network Maintenance - Friday, June 26, 2026, 8PM until 12 AMDear Campus Community, IT will be performing campus network upgrades from 8:00 PM on Friday, June 26 until 12:00 AM at the following location: Bertrand Library. Examples of affected services include but are not limited to wired and wireless network connectivity. Access to the campus network in these locations will be interrupted for 2-3 hours while the devices are upgraded. Internet Provider Maintenance - Thursday June 4th 11PMOn Thursday June 4th, 11PM - 2AM, Bucknell's ISP will be performing maintenance on their internal network to support their redundant services. Partial Service interruption will occur during the maintenance window due to a required router reload. Campus Network Maintenance - Friday, May 22 @ 8:00 PMDear Campus Community, IT will be performing campus network maintenance from 8:00 PM on Friday, May 22 until 11:59 PM to perform required firmware upgrades. Examples of affected services include but are not limited to general internet connectivity from on-campus devices, VPN access, and connections to internal campus servers from off-campus. During this four-hour maintenance window, multiple brief service disruptions are expected as we update and restart the firewall appliances. There will not be a complete, continuous outage, but network connections will drop momentarily several times. Cloud-hosted services (such as your email and cloud drives) will not be affected by the maintenance itself, though your ability to reach them from the campus network may be briefly interrupted. Wireless Certificate Alert - Monday, March 3 at 9:30amDear Campus Community, IT will be replacing an expiring certificate for the bucknell.edu wireless network at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3rd. After this time, users reconnecting to the bucknell.edu wireless network may be prompted by their device to trust a new certificate, and will need to approve the new certificate in order to reconnect. If a user accidentally refuses the new certificate, they will need to forget the network and rejoin as if connecting for the first time.
