German artist Nanne Meyer creates works in many media including paintings, works on paper, installations, books and collage. Regardless of medium, her work is informed by drawing and visual language. In provocative work infused with lyrical line and rendered form, Meyer has developed a highly evolved vocabulary of images, diagrams and forms that is intelligent, poetic and whimsical. While Meyer has exhibited extensively in Europe, this is her first solo exhibition in the US. She is Professor at the Art School Berlin-Weissensee, and lives and works in Berlin.
